Looking through my garden window

Every morning I go into my kitchen for coffee and look through my garden window to see MaMa squirrel  with her babies near by and a pair of Cardinals, that were skittish for the longest time and soon to follow some Doves, Sparrows and Blue Jays.  I have a Humming bird feeder, but I've only seen one Humming bird so far...it was so tiny and beautiful!

I can comment! Yeah. Well, about squirrels they are cute but they can be pests - I know - I have had them in my attic three times and they eat my bird seeds from a squirrel proof feeder.

Love birds too!

Those squirrels are smart trying to make a nest for their babies in an attic, but not good for you I agree. I feed mine away from my house and I've reinforced the wire in my soffit so hopefully I won't get any in my attic. :) I love my birds too, except the hawks. When Rambo, my big black doggie, hears a hawk he starts barking and wants to go outside and he runs around like a crazy man barking.

Now that would be a great way to start the day, coffee and squirrels and a few birds too. I love to watch them play. We have Fox squirrels hear and they love to tease the cats.

When fall actually arrives here in FL, I go outside and sit with my coffee to watch the birds and squirrels in my backyard. It is a great way to start the day! I have a lot of memories of the squirrels teasing my kitties too. They were indoor kitties s so they were always looking through the window. :)
