More Bonding with Teenage Son

After school my son wanted to practice driving, so I agreed as long as we could go to a park to walk and talk.  On the walk we met a few new friends.

That looks like a really pretty park. I love the reflection in your second photo.

It looks like the white duck is having a really bad feather day, that is cute.

I wish we had birds like this in our park! Are the big white ones ibis? What a lot of variety!

They're all lovely shots; really like the last one of the trees reflected in the lake. A beautiful place to spend time with your son.

I never got to meet new friends when I took my kids to practice driving. All I ever got was increased stress levels :)

Hi Ginny, It is a white ibis and I have a lot of them visiting at my home as well. I live a few houses from a lake in my neighborhood and sometimes there are six or eight of them cruising by in my front yard. I love all the birds around here. :)

I think it is so 'sweet' that you bond with your son - not everyone does that wonderful kind of things. Beautiful pictures. sandie

Hi Marie, those are wonderful photos and the park looks beautiful. I think your son is a lucky guy to have a mom who will spend quality time with him. Take care!
