Drive, Drive, Drive...Everyday, Everyday, Everyday

My son driving us home from his birthday dinner.

Everyday since my son got his driving permit, end of June, we take drives.  He reminds me that we live in Orlando and he needs lots of practice and in less than a year he will be driving on his own.  I don't really want to be reminded of this!  And if there's anything worse than driving in Orlando at 5:00 p.m., it's being the passenger in the car that your 15 yr old is driving in Orlando at 5:00 p.m.! LOL!

You are a brave woman, Marie! :D I remember being more than a little nervous when my children were learning to drive. This is a perfect time for getting some great photos, tho. Your son looks relaxed and like he has everything under control, I'm sure he'll do well.

I agree, you are one very brave woman Marie. To ride with a teenager can nerve wracking enough on normal roads but in 5 pm traffic....scary.

Of course my teenager was female, maybe boys are more sane. LOL!

I love those shots of Orlando.

I tally agree 100% - see all my gray hair = two kids driving.

Okay one thing that will be worse - in five years my grandson will be driving!

Hey - good luck to you and your son.

Don't let him drive anyone else for awhile.

Love,
sandie

LOL I assume you survived the ride since you were here to publish to post. i do remember the feeling of riding with a new driver, but NOT in Orlando, if he can drive there he can drive anywhere at all. i liked the buildings in the photos, the only part of orlando i see is blasting by on I4 in the dark am as we go to Daytona.

Oh I feel your pain. I remember those days of driving with both of my kids when they had their permits. Man that was scary :)

Since my girlz have paws I have never had to experience the driving thing.

Got your note via Sandra and I have the same problem trying to post to some blogs....I must not know the special hand shake or something.LOL any insight on the matter is greatly appreciated.

This is a scary time, for sure! I remember when our son was learning to drive. One night he took off with no headlights and almost hit a tree. He wondered why it was so hard to see!
