Thrift Store Shopping

Are you a thrift store shopper?  I am!  I just love the fact that you can find such unique and totally unexpected items in thrift stores.  I also enjoy estate sales, but don't find a lot of time for them.  These are a few of my favorite finds from the past month.

I just love this!  The sign reads "in the garden".  It's so heavy!  Made very well.
cost: $1.99
Such a pretty flower pot.  It's about 6" high.
cost: $1.99

Love this cup!  This is my new coffee cup that starts my everyday!
cost: $.99

You found some great things!! I do like to go and look at thrift stores; mainly for clothes; I work at home; I don't need to pay $30 for a top where a $3 one would be just fine. Always great bargains to be found there!

The beehive is my favorite, is it a trivet? For sure too pretty to sit anything on.

Yes, thrift stores is one of my hobbies. It's where I find all the boys' toys - we don't buy new. I LOVE your garden sign!

i love thrift stores. once we went in goodwill, i was looking for a table, and hubby was with me and he hates all stores. i said look around in the mens dept. he found not one but four pairs of shorts, the kind with all the pockets and they were all new, never been worn, got them for 3.00 each and they were 20.00 shorts. that same day we found him a pair of deck shoes that had never been worn, i had seen them in the mall for 39.00 and these were 5. you did good on your shopping

You found some great things, Marie! I love the beehive trivet. I love to shop at thrift stores, but it seems like everything is always pretty well picked over by the time I get in to shop. Estate sales are fun too, but I don't get to many. Do you have garage or yard sales in your area?

I do love thrift shops but I don't get to go very often. I don't often find much when I do go but it's still fun to look around. You found some really great bargains and that cup is awesome.

Dear Sweet Marie, You and I share a lot in common. I love, love, love going around to thrift stores, op-shops, and flea markets. What wonderful treasures you've found. I can't choose a favourite, they're all so lovely. But I have to say that reading God's Words on that cup is a great way to start the day. I hope the week is going well for you. God bless you. Love, Kerrie

thrift store shopping is the best....My motto is when I hit up a Goodwill if that if you see a women walking in with a fancy purse push past her and make a beeline for the housewares department...because she's looking for the same good stuff as you are....my daughter gets designer clothes all the time at a fraction of the price too.....

Me! Me!
Goodwill and various other thrift stores are wonderful.
I have the hardest time paying full price when I don't have to :)

Oh Marie, you are a shopper after my own heart. I love thrift stores and estate sales. I have several pieces of furniture I found at estate sales at amazing prices. Lately the thrift store finds in my area have not been good but I keep looking. I love that cute little flower pot.

All your treasures are so cute! I love going to the thrift store to dig around. As a matter of fact, I believe I will go poke around there today, on my day off, to see if I can find some fun garden trinkets. You have inspired me!
Have a super weekend!
