Happy 2013!

Happy 2013 everyone!

Have you made any New Year's resolutions?
I've seen a blogger with a word for the year, I think that is so cool!
What do you do if anything?
I look at the past year and if there are things I regret or didn't find time to make happen I will work on it this new year. :)

Two days ago we saw our backyard Mama Squirrel with two new babies!
They're here today to remind everyone that no matter how small we should be kind to God's creatures. :)....I think they want to remind my pups...lol

To eat or not to eat black eyed peas???
Do you?

Happy New Year... YES, we eat Black-eyed Peas... I make it in a big casserole called Hoppin' John.. It has black-eyes, rice, bacon, ham, smoked sausage, onion, and spices)... YUM.....

No specific resolutions here --other than to keep on staying healthy --eating right and exercising...

Hope 2013 is good to you.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Marie! Those furry critters are just the cutest...great shots!
I didn't make any resolutions for this year other than to try to eat healthier and exercise more. I didn't fix black-eyed peas, I seldom do because no one really likes them all that much.
Hope you have a wonderful 2013!

I haven't eaten black eyed peas since I was a child but I still remember what they taste like. :-)

Love the pictures.
As my 3 yr old great niece would say, "I just cannot like black eyed peas!!!"
God bless your new year.

I quit doing resolutions years ago since I never kept them. I've never had black eyed peas before. New Years it's the traditional pork and sauerkraut here.

Mama Squirrel knows life is good in your yard.

I love black eyed peas. I haven't made any yet but probably will sometime later this week or the weekend.
