Thrifty Find

It's no secret that I enjoy thrift shops.  I found this dog bowl and liked it immediately!  I Liked it even more when I saw the price tag...only .99!  What a deal!  It's so nice and heavy.  We use it as an extra water bowl for our three pups. :)
How many of you shop thrift stores regularly??

I used to love thrifting, until I ran out of room to bring anything else in.

Great bowl!!!

This is a nice, big, heavy bowl, it would sell for much more at the pet store, I see ones there somewhat like this one. I never seem to have any luck at these places, Everyone does but me!!!

Oh wow, you got a great find Marie. I have seen those in stores and they are expensive. I love thrift stores but the last few times I have shopped I couldn't find anything good.

I love this! What a great find. I enjoy thrift stores very much. Many of my vintage cookbooks come from thrift stores. Have a nice Friday!

I thrift a lot for the kid's clothes. A very cute dog dish!

that dog dish is pretty enough to be set out as decorations... i love thrift stores, when bob and i first married in 85 we furnished our whole house from thrift stores and flea markets, except our mattress.

Will your pups be insulted that the bowl is calling them "Mutt's"?

We have yet to find great thrift places here.

I'm sad because one of the nearest thrift shops is closing. There aren't nearly enough of them around here.

Have a nice weekend!

Great thrifty find. Sometimes I forget to look in that part of the stores for things like that. About a month and a half ago, our queen size bottom sheet ripped horrid. I didn't have any more Queen size fitted sheets. So what did I do? Off to Savers and I got a most luscious silky polyester fitted queen sheet that is soooooooo soft for ....wait for it .... $4, yup $4. But I didn't stop there. The mattress pad was really sad too so I bought a Queen size pad for $5 and then a top flat sheet for $3. I re-did my bedding on our bed for $11 dollars. There is that awesome price again, just like my post today. They were all white, too so you can't tell they weren't an original set.

Great buy... We don't have any thrift stores near us now--but in past, I certainly enjoyed them regularly.

These days, I just don't go shopping much --except for groceries (and that is expensive enough this year)..... ha

Hugs,
Betsy

I hit the thrift stores maybe a couple times a month. It's never planned. I noticed that our Good Will relocated to a new (as in brand new) building recently. I'm going in soon to enjoy the still fresh sent of new building and Good Will. It won't last long. LOL
