North Carolina Is Home For Me Again

Hi everyone!  I know it's been awhile and I've missed you all!
The move wasn't easy, but we're finally getting settled into our new home in Cary, NC.  A BIG thank you to my parents that helped us move here!  We love you and are very grateful!  My dad drove a moving truck, hubby drove a moving truck and Kyle and I drove the Navigator with our pups. :)  We had a convoy!  We drove all night long and arrived to our new home at 9:30 a.m..
Kyle and I cried as we left our home of many years.
But, now it's time for a new adventure!

Kyle graduated high school May 9th!  We're very proud and we will be having a big celebration when my parents come to visit again.
I've met some nice people here already!  I'm especially looking forward to meeting Madi and her mom!  They live really close by in Raleigh.  Even though our address is Cary we're very close to Apex and Raleigh, a very convenient location.

I have family that live in eastern NC and I'm looking forward to spending time with them!

I'll be around to your blog soon!  Hope everyone is doing well.
Please keep Chatty Crone and MadSnapper in your prayers!  They're both dealing with health issues.

I'll leave you with the our last days in Orlando and our first days in Cary, NC...now home. :)

Hi Marie...good to have you back! I knew Theresa would know what kind of bird it was. I love your new home...it's beautiful!
It looks like there were happy celebrations for all.
You took me back to our big moving day when we had a convoy and I was with the dogs and our youngest in our Navigator. There were some tears shed on that drive, too. I'm so happy you have settled in and met some nice people. I'm sure you'll be very happy there. I want to move to NC myself!

Hi Marie, it's good to have you back. I knew with the move and graduation you were very busy.

I LOVE your new house in Cary with all the trees. Looks like the Towhee is the first of many critters to welcome you to your new place. I'll bet there are some squirrels there too.

PS, I have two new foster kittens.

Marie this is just miserable weather...and it isn't over. In 2012 we had one of the hottest most humid summers on record. 12 straight days of 95-100 degrees and humid I just hope this one is short lived.

Cary is a beautiful town; although I've only been once, I loved it. Congratulations to your son on his accomplishment; he's a handsome lad. As to 'gators...like 'em just fine, in FL!
You may not have heard my news, my farm is for sale. Please pray God will bring a buyer so I can move closer to family. See here for info

Hey Marie!!! WooHoo good to hear from you and OMCs your yaptop went on kaput. I hope it wasn't 'cause it didn't like NC internets! MOL

Thank goodness you have a new one and are once again connected.

OMCs did you buy it at the Walmart on Glenwood Avenue? If so, you were about 3 miles from our house (as the crow flies).

I hope you are all unpacked and enjoying your new home.
Hugs Madi and Mom

It's good to hear from you Marie. Sorry about the old laptop but getting a new one is good.

The little black kitten is one of my fosters, his name is Cooper. He is the sweetest little boy. There is a better photo of him in this post: http://thrusquirreleyes.blogspot.com/2014/06/see-beautiful-with-flowers-and.html

The little orange tabby is named Cheese Puff and she is a doll. She has only been here two weeks.

your beautiful home is very similar to my sister's! I think Woods of Kildaire is just down the street from her. She's on Tanglewood, maybe I told you. Cary is so nice! And NC is really pretty. I think you will love it there. Congrats on the blog anniversary! And Kyle's graduation! so many changes for you. Exciting!
