Our First Fall In Cary

The weather here in Cary is beautiful!  The leaves are just starting to turn and it gets more beautiful day by day.
We will be decorating the house for Halloween today or tomorrow.  We will be handing out candy since we're in a neighborhood full of kids. :)  I'll make sure to get candy that we all like, since we eat about half of it. lol!

The colours (and reflections) are stunning! We don't have many wee children in our neighbourhood, so the likelihood of tiny ghosts and goblins is little to none.

That is beautiful for sure - I wonder if it is my friends lake she goes to!

How beautiful! The trees are brilliant and the deep blue of the water. It will be interesting to see how many you get. We always get only candy we like, because we always wind up with lots leftover.

It has been a beautiful fall. I hope you don't have too many trick or treaters so you get some leftover candy ;-)

Hi There, Great photos... Happy Autumn in Carolina to YOU. It's my favorite time of the year.

We have some good colors here --but I love love love the Fall Colors in North Carolina. I took a trillion (it seems) pictures last week on vacation there...

We are supposed to go down to 28 degrees and maybe have some snow showers on Saturday.... Winter is coming.

Hugs,
Betsy

That's the fun part about Halloween...eating the candy. We're going on a hearse ghost tour of downtown Nashville, so hopefully I'll have some pictures Monday. I just noticed it's supposed to drop to 35 degrees or something, so Halloween will be a little CHILLY here!

very pretty pictures. Our fall color is past it's peak and there are a lot of trees that are totally bare already

Gorgeous colors! I love the reflection of the trees and clouds on the water. And of course I love seeing ducks. We have been having cloudy skies and rain and looks like more rain for Halloween night. I hope we get a few brave trick or treaters.

Happy Halloween!

Cary IS beautiful, no? I'm so sorry I missed connecting w/ you when I was there a couple weeks ago. I think you are very close to my sister, she's at 1110 Tanglewood dr. Maybe next time I'm up, I'll give you more notice and we can meet at the mall or something. :-)
