Our First Christmas in Cary

We all agreed on a real tree for our first Christmas in Cary.  Hubby and son trimmed the trunk and got it in the stand and I did a lot of vacuuming. :)
Note to self, turn off t.v. when son needs to focus. lol

The tree is now decorated and I'll share those pics later. :)
Enjoy your last month of 2014!

Can you see that he's not focused on the tree?
There must be cars on t.v.. lol

Now, I just need to water it everyday!

Back to the t.v.. lol

This is Cary's downtown theater.  It's so cute!
We haven't been there yet, but we will. :)
sorry about the reflection!

This pic was taken about a week ago, not sure if these beautiful leaves are still hanging on. :)

That is a beautiful tree! Cute too, Marie, to go with a life one as a remembrance of your first year in your new hometown! Too cute about your son and the TV, I think its a man thing, LOL, my "boys" do the same thing, it draws them in :)

I hope you are enjoying your new place and the wonders of the season!

Your tree is beautiful and looks to be a perfect shape. We have the same trouble with our son! When he is watching T.V. while we are talking on the phone, I sometimes think he doesn't hear a word I say. LOVING the beautiful little Drug Store. It is independently owned, not a chain?

How wonderful! There really is nothing like a real Christmas tree but we have a small artificial one that we have used for years now. Your photos remind me of the smell of pine in the house from years gone by when our son was living at home. You just can't bottle that. Cary looks like a lovely town and that old movie theater, wouldn't mind going there myself. Merry Christmas!

p.s. that expression on your son's face made me smile, fond memory's of my own son's face when the TV was on :)

What a beautiful tree! I miss having a large, real tree but with a kutzy German shepherd, I just can't take the chance. Your son reminds me of my husband with the TV. He just cannot tear himself away.

what a nice tree. I do love a real one but I always hated the mess.

John is like that about a tv being on! Gorgeous and full tree. I bet it smells wonderful. Will your doggies drink the water??

And this is why we don't have a television, lol.
