2014 A Very Eventful Year For Our Family

We will always remember 2014!  My baby boy graduated high school!  He graduated with a university ready diploma, two years of sign language and even with a plumbing tech degree.  I've always told him don't go with easy, go with smart, at least he listens part of the time. :)  We are so proud of him!
In the spring we moved from Orlando, home, to Cary, NC.  It has turned out to be a wonderful decision!  We live closer to family, Kyle has already made some real friends and hubby and I just love this City!  Our pups love their new home and are enjoying the cooler weather, larger yard and new smells!  Every time my parents visit they tell me how much they love it here!  I'm sure they will be moving up here soon and live close by.
In the summer, Kyle turned 18!  Where has the time gone?!  I still remember hearing "Mommy" about 100 times a day and loving it!  I remember those little arms that wrapped around my neck so tightly with many hugs every day.  Do you know that he still tells me goodnight every night with a hug and a kiss on my forehead, he's my sweet boy. :)
Hubby started his career with the State of NC and really likes it!
In the fall Kyle started college!
I had a scare with my health, but I'm here and very grateful!
We're all grateful for our many blessings!

How about you, was 2014 a memorable year for you and your family?  I hope you have many fond memories. :)
Class of 2014 Rocks!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

It's feeling like Christmas in our home! All three trees are up, our family tree, my little tree in the dining room and the pups have their own little tree this year. :)
There is a house on the corner of our street that has their lights set to music on the radio.  It's really neat to watch.  Kyle would have loved this as a young child!  We see many families with their little ones and their pups walking into the neighborhood to enjoy the show.  Every time we're coming home we tune into their station and enjoy the show. :)

We bought a real tree this year since it's our first Christmas here in Cary. :)

This is one of my favorites.  My parents bought this ornament for Kyle's first Christmas since I have done wildlife rescue and I had a pet squirrel when he was born.

This was a gift from a favorite teacher. :)

Kyle gave me this ornament, so cute!

I think it came out really pretty!
Thanks to hubby and son for putting the lights on, I have no patience for lights. lol

Our First Christmas in Cary

We all agreed on a real tree for our first Christmas in Cary.  Hubby and son trimmed the trunk and got it in the stand and I did a lot of vacuuming. :)
Note to self, turn off t.v. when son needs to focus. lol

The tree is now decorated and I'll share those pics later. :)
Enjoy your last month of 2014!

Can you see that he's not focused on the tree?
There must be cars on t.v.. lol

Now, I just need to water it everyday!

Back to the t.v.. lol

This is Cary's downtown theater.  It's so cute!
We haven't been there yet, but we will. :)
sorry about the reflection!

This pic was taken about a week ago, not sure if these beautiful leaves are still hanging on. :)
