These Goldfinches had sunflower buffets in our backyard for weeks! There wasn't much competition, just an occasional bee. They looked directly at me a few times, I think they were saying thank you. :)

I love sunflowers and obviously the finches do too. I put nothing but black oil sunflower seeds in my feeder and as a thank you for feeding them the birds plant sunflowers right under the feeder for me.
