Spotted this beauty while we were out and about.
We turned around so I could happily snap!

Hope this post finds everyone well and looking forward to summer. :)

My son got a job at Wet 'n Wild as a lifeguard for the summer.  He's very excited and we're very proud of him!

P.S.  Thank you, TexWisGirl, for your help identifying this beauty. :)

Deadliest Catch

My son and his friends went fishing one night and caught this baby alligator.  When he told me about it I thought he was kidding and then he showed me this photo....yikes!
They took pics and released the little monster cutie.:)

Double Trouble

Double Trouble is what the wildlife in my backyard was screaming when they saw not one hawk, but two!
Seriously, the birds and squirrels were making a fuss in my backyard.  I totally understood why when I saw this beautiful pair.  I think it may have been a parent and a youngster.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
I personally don't believe there's a more important
job in the world than being a good Mom.

I did get a pretty card, flowers, my special coffee and will be spending the day with my Mother, my Grandma and my Son.  I couldn't ask for anything more.
But, I do want to share my card with you because my son told me it took him 30 minutes to pick it out. :)
I told him the words were exactly what I needed and that  after this past year I am worth at the least 30 minutes. :)

Hugs to all you Moms!!!

Brought tears to my eyes!

Rambo's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our Rambo!
He's five years young today!  He walked up to my parent's front door on May 11, 2008 which was Mother's Day. :)  My son Kyle scooped him up into his arms and he's been with us ever since.
We love you!

Our Rambo likes stirring up the moths in the grass so he can chase them!
He is a Happy Dog!

This is his first day home meeting Roxanne-Love.:)

Happy Birthday Rambo!!!

Florida Gators

Hubby and I took a drive out by Orlando International Airport.  We usually see some critters out and about.  We stopped by a huge drainage ditch where we had seen storks, turtles and rabbits before.  As we approached the ditch we heard something hit the water quickly, way too fast for a turtle.  Hubby then spotted the little alligators!  Which means Mama is close by!  Needless to say we didn't stay long! LOL  In every body of water in Florida there is a good chance a gator is in it.
They were only about 10 inches long.
Next time I will post photos of the little gator our son and his friends played with. LOL

You can see the stripes on this one.

This is their home...

Had a hard time seeing this one.  Mother Nature knows camouflage!
