A New Visitor

We've been getting a lot of new birds visiting our backyard.  The small birds are so difficult for me to photograph.  They're just so small and quick!  I think this little guy wants this birdhouse in the tree so he could actually use it. :)  I think I'll put this on hubby's to do list. :)
Happy days to everyone!

Just the right size, just needs to be upright.  The squiirrels have been having too much fun!

The End

Trying again, didn't let me post the first time.:( Like the first shot, think it might be a finch. Lots of birds at my feeders and the blue birds arrived a couple weeks ago. Just waiting for them to choose their nesting box. Happy Wed. We are just waiting for it to start snowing.

That's a cool looking birdhouse! I think I would want to make that a home too! Cute bird pictures Marie!

What a sweet little bird. I love that bit of yellow on him. I hope your husband will get the bird house hung before nesting begins.

to funny, he looks like he is wondering what happened to his house... earthquake? and laughed at the putting it on hubby's to do list. I have one but hubby is not cooperating.

I agree, the tiny ones flit in the blink of an eye!! Sorry I can't help you with these, but I really look forward to spring and more!

Of course Theresa would be able to identify the little guy! I think I have these, too. Are they really, really small? I can only photograph them thru the window.
Great shots, Marie!

I love that first shot of the bird and birdhouse. The little cutie is wondering what happened to his home! Hope your hubby gets it hung back up soon. I have a couple of bluebird houses I need to get my hubby to hang for me. I've only asked him 3 times now. :) He'll get to it eventually. We have some older houses that need to be replaced. Have a nice Thursday, Marie!

That's so neat. I had one of those Yellow-rumped Warblers visit my feeders one year --but haven't seen one since... Love the yellow on them...

Hugs,
Betsy

Yellow-rumped warbler, I love that name. It looks like this little guy is shopping around for a new home. Hope your hubby get the house back up soon, the tenant is ready to move in. Your last photo is too funny Marie!

I think your little friend is definitely ready to move into his house. I hope that means spring is just around the corner.
