National Puppy Day!

I just heard that today is National Puppy Day.  I can't go adopt a puppy today but, I can enjoy our neighbors new little black puppy, his name is Zulu and he's so cute!  I met him for the first time about a week ago and he gave me puppy kisses.  When I walked in the house my pups went crazy smelling me!  lol
The pups and I will be making their frozen treats while listening to our Carolina Wrens.  They have a nest under our screened porch and hang out on our back decks daily.  I never tire of these adorable birds!

The End. :)

Pretty little birds!!! I saw a puppy last week at the beach...well I saw 5 dogs total, but Finnegan was still a puppy. He was so happy and eager to play. Totally adorable.

Your photos are excellent! I love little wrens, but have never seen a Carolina one. Maybe you can show us some pictures when the babies hatch.

These birds are beautiful, love the red-brown colours. Enjoy your Monday. I have just finished my work day here and heading for the gym before finally 'landing' at casa O'Brien :)

I had no idea it was national puppy day. Had I known Gibbs and I would have done something special to celebrate :)

What a sweet looking bird! How fun with the puppy, you can go and visit, but not have to "worry" about training the puppy etc (kind of like grand kids :)

Lately my heart is tugging for another puppy, but patiently (somewhat) waiting the year out before we decide :)
