This Pup Is A Swimmer

While out and about looking at homes for sale we spotted a game of fetch.  This cute pup is a swimmer!  This lake and small park is in one of the neighborhoods we like very much.
When I saw the mom throw that Big stick I asked hubby to do a U turn.  So glad I had my camera because it was simply too far for my cell phone camera.
I wanted to go and meet the mom of this pup, but we had an appointment to see a house.
Our Roxy and Rambo love playing fetch, but Roxy doesn't care for water and Rambo is a swimmer and will play fetch all day.
Can you pick a favorite??

That is a pretty park. I like all the pics but especially where he is shaking off the water...a great action shot.
Our late doxie and our current dog, mostly chihuahua, did/do not like water. Some doxies like to swim in one of those children's plastic pools but our late Harriet did not!
God bless you as you search for just the right home. xo

So adorable! Bark softly and carry a big stick! I like the one where he put it down to shake off, but then he picks it up again.

Love the area! I hope you find the right house for you and yours; always fun to look at houses I think :)

Such cute pictures of the dog! I like the second one the best of them. Good way for him to cool down when it gets hot this summer and get some exercise :)

Oh my gosh, they are ALL so good!! So I have TWO favorites! Number two, because he is swimming and holding the big stick. And my next favorite is the one where he is shaking. LOVE how in an instant you captured each and every shining water drop all around him. Just look at how much water one shake removes! What a fun post!!

P.S. I was so fascinated by these joyful pictures that I almost forgot...how did the house appointment go?

we've been outbid on the two homes we made offers on. one we offered full asking price and on the other we offered over asking and still no luck. for our budget there's more buyers than homes.
thanks for asking Ginny. we'll be looking again this Saturday. :)

I like the one with him shaking off the water. But they are all great. What a good dog. Have a great day and hope you find a house.

FYI: We just wanted to let you know there is not a Big Boy in Cameron Village. MOLMOL mom took that photo last year on vacation. She had not seen a Big Boy statue in years and she used to love Shoney's/aka Big Boy but all the franchises left NC years ago.
Hugs Madi and mom

Can I pick a favorite? Are you kidding me?!! I love 'em all. It's always fun and so enjoyable to see ANY critter enjoying life such as this one. Heck, even a cat sound asleep and laying in a position only a cat can accomplish is fun.

Great series Marie.
How did the house appointment go?

He does really enjoy being in the water.
The last picture is the best. What a lovely place to sit and gaze.

what wonderful captures!

Reminds me of an uncle of the boys dad...he had a lake by his property and several labs who loved the water and were always jumping in and playing fetch as well!

What a fun post.

What a neat post ---and a happy dog... We are at the beach --and every afternoon, we go to this little park nearby and walk and take pictures... Most people there have dogs ---and today we saw a man and his dog playing 'fetch'.... That dog was having the best time possible!!!!! Adorable.

Hugs,
Betsy
