Egret's Lovely Friends

On Saturday I shared a handsome Egret with you.  Today I am sharing some of his pretty and handsome friends with you...some Wood Ducks.  Funny thing is I see a lot of ducks but not Wood Ducks, usually Mallards.  I'll just share a few of the many pics taken. :)

Grandpa and Grandson's Project

My dad and son do a lot of projects together.  Kyle has learned plumbing, irrigation, concrete mixing and pouring, pool care and all kinds of man stuff from my dad. :)  I'm very grateful for their relationship!  

This is one of their most recent projects at my mom and dad's home and I think it came out nicely. :) Looks like this tree needed a little assistance and got it. :)

On Our Way Back To Florida

While hubby was driving us back from North Carolina I was happily snapping.  Even though he was driving around 70mph it didn't stop me. :)  

After figuring gas cost for our Navigator, we decided to rent a vehicle because it would actually be less expensive.  We used our discount through USAA and thanks to a wonderful lady at Budget we made out very well.  When I arrived to pick up the car the lady working gave us an upgrade, at no extra charge, to a Ford Edge.  I have always thought the Edge was a sharp little suv.  We absolutely loved it!  Our son is 6'2" and he had plenty of room in the back.  I may be looking at buying one in the future. :)

Thrifty Find

It's no secret that I enjoy thrift shops.  I found this dog bowl and liked it immediately!  I Liked it even more when I saw the price tag...only .99!  What a deal!  It's so nice and heavy.  We use it as an extra water bowl for our three pups. :)
