This beautiful Two-tailed Swallowtail showed up in my backyard yesterday. It seemed to really enjoy my Bougainvillea. It made me think of a flower in flight.

These are just stunning pictures, I love the colors!!! So bright, sharp, and clear, too! You were lucky to find this one. Most of them here seem to be missing at least part of a tail!

they are truly God's flying flowers. so beautiful, and so is the flowers. we have one this color and a purple one. but boy do they have thorns

Oh my stars in heaven, look at these photos. Such detail on the butterfly to where it looks 3D. Not a blemish on the butterfly, I wonder if its a youngster. The tail area is so perfect.
