If I were this guy I would keep the hard hat on! That Osprey seems to be keeping an eye on what's going on down below. I can tell you that I could never ever do that job! How about you??
I think the Osprey is such a pretty bird. |
I've seen Ospreys carrying some large fish! |
He makes it look so easy. Never ever would I be up there! |

Oh my gosh ~ THAT is high!!! I think I would want wings to be that high. LOL!

Me neither... Their jobs look so scary!!! But the Osprey has a ring-side seat, doesn't he????? What a place for a nest... Guess he feels safe up there!!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Most of the towers around here have the large dishes placed on top for the birds to nest.:)
The Osprey has a birds eye view of the work. Most of the towers and transmission poles in our area have those platforms for the birds too.
Never would I do what those guys do. My hubby keeps the equipment in tiptop shape for the guys who do that and repair power lines here but he doesn't like those kind of heights either.
No way would I want to be up there, with, or without the osprey!
Oh my! I hope they did not disturb the nest! I think these men deserve however much money they make!! And they probably don't get paid enough.
i am with you, that job is not for me... i have seen osprey with a fish that weighed more than he did. and they are beautiful and so fun to watch. we watched a couple, as they screeched at each other from the tops of two sail boats and then dove and came up with fish.
Oh my goodness. That is far too high up for me. Never have seen an osprey before. Not something we see around here, but it looks like a majestic bird.
That osprey is fantastic!
yikes! nope, me neither! :)
Not me!!!
Wearing the hat not only for protection from attack but poop as well if there are babies. They like to shoot it out like rockets.
The osprey found the perfect spot for a nest! I could never ever do that job. Not for a million bucks. I'm very afraid of heights! Cool photos, Marie!
After hearing a story one of the guys at work told me about his cousin I know without a doubt I could not do that job.
His cousin was up 40 feet and somehow the safety strap didn't get connected right and he fell and landed on his feet. He apparently said he could hear the bones breaking in his legs
You must be kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO WAY!
I definitely would not be up there! Have a good weekend:)

oh well, that job is not for me either!
Never.never.never.never.never.
Whoa; I would even hate to watch someone up there.
Love that osprey!! They are such magnificient birds; I never get tired of seeing the ones here :)
