Happy November

It's November already!  Our October went by way too quickly!  How about for you?
How was everyone's Halloween?  Our son went to a costume party in downtown Raleigh where a good friend of his owns an establishment.  Hubby and I stayed in because I'm still trying to rid myself of a nasty cold.
The trees around here are full of color, they're beautiful!  Spring and Fall are my favorite times of year.  Hope you're having beautiful days!

Our First Fall In Cary

The weather here in Cary is beautiful!  The leaves are just starting to turn and it gets more beautiful day by day.
We will be decorating the house for Halloween today or tomorrow.  We will be handing out candy since we're in a neighborhood full of kids. :)  I'll make sure to get candy that we all like, since we eat about half of it. lol!

More of Cary, NC

I have more of beautiful Cary to share with you.

I can't believe it's already November!  I'm not Christmas shopping yet, but I do love Christmas music.  My son took me to Starbucks over the weekend and he played Christmas music for us to enjoy, we both love it. :)

Back To Cary

We went back to visit Cary, NC.  The weather was perfect, about high of 65 everyday with sunshine.  I didn't miss the Florida weather at all, but I sure missed our puppy dogs.
We are still moving to Cary, but not until after the first of the year.  I'm getting so excited to start our life there!

Hope everyone has been doing well.  I will be visiting everyone's blogs soon. :)

everyone knows I can't pass up these guys. :)

these two were so sweet to look at the camera. :)

we pulled over in the parking lot to take pics. :)

Our National Symbol

The other day hubby and I were getting on I-4 and I saw a Bald Eagle!  I was so upset that I didn't have my camera and we weren't in a good place to pull over to attempt to use my cell phone camera.

Then today hubby and I were out and about with camera in hand just in case I saw some fun Halloween or fall decorations.  We were on our way home and cruising close to a lake and there it was, another Bald Eagle!  I was so excited and yelling to hubby "pull over, pull over"!  Talk about driving under pressure. LOL  We pulled off the road and I jumped out of the car!  He or she was sitting high, about 100ft away, over looking Lake Conway.  I started snapping while I could hear the birds behind me crying because this powerful bird was too close for comfort!  He didn't sit still for long, but it was a beautiful sight to see.  I thought with the election close by this was a perfect time to see a Bald Eagle.
I found a couple of websites with some great information about the Bald Eagle, our national symbol.
http://www.baldeagleinfo.com/eagle/eagle9.html or http://www.usflag.org/baldeagle.html

I have to tell you that seeing our country's national symbol at this time has really lifted my spirits.  Seeing two Eagles in five days is a sign to me that everything will be okay, we're strong!
God Bless America!

He was fast and at this point about a 180 ft away!
Breathtaking!

Fall In Florida

After seeing MadSnapper's, aka grandmother to my plants, post today it motivated me to post my Fall photos. :)

Took this while visiting Cypress Grove Park...where hubby and I were married!
