Favorite Found Treasures

I shop thrift stores regularly, as most of you know.  I buy things for myself and to sell on ebay.  I would like to build my ebay to a thrift & gift store and make donations to animal shelters.
Today I would like to share with you a couple of my favorite treasures.
The black puppy dog lives in my china cabinet.  I paid .25 only for him!  Yes, I decided it's a male. :)  And the pitcher and cup I found separately at the same store.  They cost me $6.00 together!   These are two of my favorite finds.
I find a lot of items with price tags still attached!  Love it!
Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!

So handsome and low maintenance. :)

Wish you could feel the texture of the roses.

There's not one chip!  Excellent condition!

Fabulous Finds

Everyone knows by now that I shop thrift stores regularly.  And I'm finding that there are a lot of friends in blog land that enjoy thrift stores as well.  I wish we could all shop together, but until then lets share our finds here in blog land. :)
My son went to a couple of thrift stores this week trying to piece together his Halloween costume.  He's going as a "nerd".  Yes, there will be pics taken. :)  It makes me happy that he's being thrifty with my money. LOL

I couldn't resist these cute bird houses!  They were $2.99 each!
I placed my cell phone there to give you an idea of their size.
Now will they go in my kitchen or outside for little birds??? hmmmmmm

I found this lovely bowl, it was $.99!  It will have one of the most important jobs
in our home, it will soon be holding chocolate!  LOL

     Acquiring a dog
   may be the only opportunity
      a human ever has
        to choose a relative.

I saved the best for last!
This was only $.49 and I just love it!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday!

Thrift Store Treasures

I truly enjoy thrift store treasure hunting.  While visiting a Goodwill thrift store recently I found this unique painting.  I immediately called my son and described it to him and he asked me to buy it for him. My son is a bit of an artist himself and he likes unique items like his mama. :)
I did buy the painting at the extremely fair price of $5.99.  My son really likes it!  We looked up the artist on her website and apparently she has been selling these paintings for $100 to 150 each!  On the back her name is painted on, SybilNestor.com
She paints on old windows and it almost looks 3-D.  I wish you could see that is the pics, but it's really one of those things you need to see in person.  Anybody want to visit Orlando? LOL
Apparently she travels Florida selling her paintings and will be traveling to New York soon as well.  Pretty cool!
Do you shop thrift stores???  I just love the fact that you can find such unique and very unexpected items. :)
There's a lot of difference in lighting in these pics.
The sand looks totally real!
It measures 24"x25"
