A Happy Ending.

I've been extra busy the past two days and I do apologize if I haven't visited your blog yet.

On Christmas day we found a puppy dog on the side of the road.  We don't ever pass up puppy dogs that look like they're possible alone or lost.  This doggy ran straight to my son.  He had no collar, so no i.d. tags.  We were on our way to visit more family, so we had to take him back to our house and leave him there.  That's easier said than done since we already have three doggies.  We had to let our dogs outside so that we could get the lost dog set up in our master bathroom.  When we let our dogs back in the house they were sniffing and whining!  They really wanted to meet the little guy!  The little guy slept with my son for two nights.  We made signs and posted them.

Today I got a phone call from a lady that described the little lost guy perfectly!  Little guy was going home!  I found out his name is Taz and his family had gone out of town for Christmas.  Taz had been left with grandma and got away from her while on a walk Christmas morning.

Taz was picked up today to go back home.  I met his mom and she's a very grateful and nice lady.  She's keeping my number for future dog sitting. :)  I love happy endings!

Isn't he a little sweetheart!

All comfy in my son's bed.

And for good reason, he slept on a tempur-pedic pillow and mattress.
We will miss little Taz.

What a heart warming Christmas story! He is cute as a button! I would have been kind of sad to lose him, but glad he got back to his rightful owner, all because of YOU!!! You gave the best Christmas gift of all!

That is a great Christmas story Marie. It was wonderful that you and your family were at the right place at the right time to rescue Taz. He is absolutely adorable. I'm glad the story has a happy ending and Taz is home.

Sounds like you might get to see him again sometime.

this is a super duper Christmas story, Taz was lost and now he is found and thanks to your family he had a wonderful time while waiting to be the prodigal son and return home. no eating with the pigs for this lost one, but sleeping with your son. he is so cute. i am happy for him that he ran to your family and was kept safe from harm. you and your son are dog magnets. right?

That is a happy ending! I bet the grandmother was just "sick" about it, wondering what happened to the dog that was under her "watch". Glad you guys were there at the right time to help Taz and that he is reunited with his family for the new year! Happy New Year!Q
