Spring Surprise

Less than three miles from our home in the city we found these beautiful animals.  I was so excited!  This pasture had been empty for so long, but not anymore. :)  It wasn't easy to park on the side of the road to take these pics, but we managed the best that we could.

I followed MadSnapper's advice to sit, stare and snap!  I did a lot of snapping, so you will be seeing a lot of horse and cow posts.
Happy Spring Blogland!

These animals all look very well taken care of. What a lovely first day of spring post! I know all about sitting on the side of busy roads snapping! We scare my friend to death when she is in the back seat. But isn't it fun?

the shots are great. There are lots of farms around where I live so I've often thought of going out and getting some shots. I did stop along the side of the road by a pasture one time. The cows came right up to the fence to see me and we had a little photo shoot

That little calf is so cute!
I love to see pastures full of animals especially horses.

That cow seems to be trying to figure out what the lady with the box is doing. The expression is too funny.

I think you got some great shots. You must have a nice camera like Sandra. And to think it is 3 miles from your home.

How are YOU?
