Birthdays

Hey everyone.  Hope everyone is enjoying some beautiful March weather.  I've been out a few days with sinus issues.  I'll be catching up on everyone's posts soon. :)
We just celebrated hubby's birthday a few days ago and yesterday Roxanne enjoyed cupcakes for her 12th birthday. :)
Next up is my uncle's birthday and then my dad's birthday :)

We love you so much, Roxanne-Love.
Happy Birthday, beautiful girl. :)

She didn't eat the candle. lol
We made six cupcakes, so there was enough for all pups. :)

Happy Spring Time!

Hey everyone!  Are you enjoying spring?  We've had beautiful weather here.  This week will be much warmer than the past few weeks.
Hope everyone had a nice Easter.  My dad's birthday was Easter weekend and mine was less than two weeks later. :)
I'm looking forward to catching up with my blog friends. :)

This is my Dad & Son.
The picture he's holding is of him and Kyle, Grandpa & Grandson, fishing together
in Boone, NC back in 1999.
I'm so grateful for the relationship they share.  Kyle has so much respect & love for his Grandpa.

This was my birthday cake. :)
This Chocolate Raspberry cake was Delicious!!! and Adorable!!

Life is Busy!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!  We've been keeping extra busy, but I'm not complaining. :)  Mom and dad came for a visit.  They had to be here for their grandson's 19th birthday!  Yes, my baby boy is 19 yrs young, hard to believe!  Besides this big celebration we celebrated Father's Day, Mother's Day and my Mother's birthday!!!  It was a vacation for us all!
After all the celebrations and vacation hubby had returned to work.  On his second day back to work I got a call that he was being taken to the ER by ambulance, I was freaking out!!  Kyle and I met the ambulance there!  It turned out to be kidney stones.  We're grateful it wasn't something worse.  He's back to his good health and now has an idea of what labor is like for a woman. ha ha!:)
Talking about health issues and hospital visits make me think of Ginny and Phil at Let Your Light Shine.  Most of you that visit me probably visit sweet Ginny.  Phil, Ginny's husband, has been diagnosed with Melanoma.  I lost my granddaddy to this cancer and I'm at high risk for melanoma because I have dysplastic nevus syndrome.  Even if you don't know Ginny and Phil please say a prayer for them.

I'll be making my way around blog land playing catch up.  I've missed everyone's stories and photos!  :)

Our baby boy, Kyle!
Love you, son!

Ready or Not, It's March

It's the first day of March and we have snow on the ground...we're not in Florida anymore. LOL!  Friday & Saturday were beautiful sunny days and we enjoyed every minute. :)

I would like to send a Happy Business Anniversary to my parents!  37 Years ago today, my parents started a successful business in Florida from scratch.  I've never known a harder working man than my dad.  I love & appreciate you both!

March is here, are you looking forward to anything special this month?  I'm looking forward to the time change because it has been getting dark way too early here, at least for me.  I'm also looking forward to celebrating my husband's b-day along with Roxanne's, my Dad's and an uncle's b-day.

Beautiful weekend!

Our squirrels know how to share. ha ha!

We have been putting out buffets for the birds and squirrels
and they have been eating it up!

The snow didn't slow down UPS!

Is It Really April?!

Hi and happy April fool's day and spring time!  I sure hope everyone is doing well. :)
We've been so busy packing, finding a home, and celebrating all kinds of special days.

On Valentine's Day my son gave me these pretty roses.  Ever since he was a very young boy he would pick me a flower because he said it always made me smile. :)

March 1st was my dad's anniversary of being self employed, 36 years!  And he couldn't have done it without my mom. :)
March 6th my hubby celebrated his 40th birthday!

On March 8th our fur baby, Roxanne-Love, celebrated her 9th birthday!
March 12th was my uncle's birthday!
March 25th was my dad's birthday!
We're also celebrating that we have a new home in Cary, NC!  Yay!!!  It couldn't be a prettier time of year to make this big move.  The pups are very excited because they will have a bigger yard to run and chase butterflies in. :)

It's hard to believe it's already April!   We have another Mama Mallard sitting on her nest in our yard.  She took a bath on our front porch yesterday in a pail of water that we set out for her. :)

The weather here in Orlando couldn't be any nicer, it's sunny and around 73 degrees...just beautiful!  Hope you are having a beautiful day as well!

Rainbows

I was almost home from a doctor's appointment when hubby and I saw this beautiful rainbow.  So, I grabbed my handy dandy camera and  I started snapping through the windshield.  :)  Just beautiful!

I can't believe it's already October!  My grandma turned 84 on the 2nd.  We will be having a big celebration for her this weekend. :)

I'm already seeing Christmas in the stores and even though it's my favorite holiday, it's just too soon for me. :)
Any special plans for the weekend?

Happy Birthday Son!

I can't believe my baby is 17 today!  It seems like it was only yesterday when I would hear "Mommy" a thousand times a day and I loved it!  Now it's "Mom" a few times a day. :)
Kyle, you will always be my baby boy!
Happy Birthday Son!
We love you!

This photo is from last Christmas, he collects Nut Crackers :)

Rambo's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our Rambo!
He's five years young today!  He walked up to my parent's front door on May 11, 2008 which was Mother's Day. :)  My son Kyle scooped him up into his arms and he's been with us ever since.
We love you!

Our Rambo likes stirring up the moths in the grass so he can chase them!
He is a Happy Dog!

This is his first day home meeting Roxanne-Love.:)

Happy Birthday Rambo!!!
