Grandpa and Grandson's Project

My dad and son do a lot of projects together.  Kyle has learned plumbing, irrigation, concrete mixing and pouring, pool care and all kinds of man stuff from my dad. :)  I'm very grateful for their relationship!

This is one of their most recent projects at my mom and dad's home and I think it came out nicely. :) Looks like this tree needed a little assistance and got it. :)

after people see what they can do, I bet they will be getting request from the neighborhood to do work for them. Beautiful job!

What a great idea to help that beautiful tree. Much of what my hubby knows came from his dad and granddad.

My oldest son learned his skills at my father's side, when he was growing up. They were a great pair. Your son is very fortunate, indeed.

That looks so good! If the tree could talk it would say "thank you", I'm sure. Can I borrow your dad? :)

That is a very nice box, and I hope it helps the tree! There is nothing that can replace the love, learning, tolerance, and wisdom of a relationship with a grandparent.

That's a great project and even better that the two of them were able to work on it together. I stopped by and added myself to follow. You have a wonderful blog. I really enjoyed looking at some of your photos.

That is a nice way to preserve a tree and a sidewalk. They need to pat on the back.

Thanks for thinking the silver bracelets were perfect. I love hearing those types of specific compliments! YOU ROCK SWEET MARIE!!!

Wow- they did a great job- and it looks like it will prevent the roots from being a hazard.
