A New Visitor

We've been getting a lot of new birds visiting our backyard.  The small birds are so difficult for me to photograph.  They're just so small and quick!  I think this little guy wants this birdhouse in the tree so he could actually use it. :)  I think I'll put this on hubby's to do list. :)

Do you have special plans today?  We're keeping it simple.  Hubby, son and I will be grilling steaks and maybe I'll get some flowers or chocolate. :)  I'll be with my two favorite guys and that's all I need!

Foxy

This is our kitten, Foxy, hanging out with Rambo, our 100 lb pup. :)  Foxy is now nine months, she'll be a year old in May.  Hasn't she turned into a pretty kitty?

Funny Turtles

After a visit to the grocery store I decided to drive behind the store to see what was back there, why not??  Yes, MadSnapper and other bloggers are rubbing off on me.:)   Little did I know there was a bunch of turtles posing and waiting for me, I hope I didn't keep them waiting too long. lol  Turtles crack me up!  What do you think of turtles?  There was a fence around the pond so I couldn't get too close.

When I was about 7 to 8 months pregnant I pulled over on the side of Colonial Drive here in Orlando, a six lane highway, to save a turtle.  That just about caused accidents!  Everyone was stopping to help the pregnant lady with the big snapping turtle. lol  I'm so glad they did!

Dreamy Sky

One evening last week, I walked out to my front yard to fill the bird bath and to sit and relax a bit while waiting for hubby to get home from work.  Little did I realize the sky was screaming with gorgeous colors!  I ran inside to get my camera and the phone was ringing.  Hubby was calling to tell me to go look at the sky, what timing!  I told him what I was doing :)  What a good hubby!  

Darling Doves

I'm so happy to see these Doves in my backyard!  We've had so many hawks around and the doves seem to be an easy target.  Anyway, I've had about four regulars eating and hanging around.  They're so pretty and soft looking. :)
