Blue Birds Looking For A Home

I've been taking a lot of pics with my new camera.  Now I have three, my Nikon Coolpix which is a very handy size, will fit right into my pocket, and takes great pics.  A Canon Powershot that is now working when it wants to, so it's not very dependable, but a great camera.  And my new camera is a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.  I love it!  Sandra at MadSnapper knew I needed a new camera and she told me about this one.  She knows how much I like to photograph wildlife and this has a super lens for it!  Thanks for the recommendation, Sandra, you're an awesome friend!  
I used my new camera to take these pics of the Blue Birds.  I know the color is off, but I was just so thrilled to see them!  I started snapping crazy fast and there was no time to adjust the color! lol  I was actually inside drinking coffee and working on my ebay when I saw these pretties flying about.  So, all of these were taken from inside looking out into my backyard.  These are some of the prettiest birds I've ever seen and they are fast!  Looks like they're checking to see if this house is available. :)

Dreamy Sky

One evening last week, I walked out to my front yard to fill the bird bath and to sit and relax a bit while waiting for hubby to get home from work.  Little did I realize the sky was screaming with gorgeous colors!  I ran inside to get my camera and the phone was ringing.  Hubby was calling to tell me to go look at the sky, what timing!  I told him what I was doing :)  What a good hubby!  

Afternoon at the Park with My Son Part 2

My son and I really did enjoy our time at the park!  It's fun to just let your hair down and be silly and goofy.  I really believe laughter is the best medicine. :)

Where did the week go??  I can't believe it's already Friday!  I'm about to have a BIG cup of coffee and catch up in blog land. :)  Happy Friday friends!

Happy Friday Friends

Hope everyone is having a good week.  I've been dragging since Tuesday night.  

I went outside this morning and enjoyed my large cup of coffee, visits from two butterflies, the gorgeous blue sky and the many flowers blooming.  Some birds and squirrels visited and even a hawk landed in my oak tree and left my little critters alone.   

I took a few moments to pray and thank him for all this beauty, it was just what I needed to lift my spirits.  Afterwards I went to get my camera because I wanted to share all this beauty with you. :)
