My First Barn Post

While on our drive last weekend I was looking for barns.  I keep seeing
wonderful barn photos on other blogs like Theresa's (TexWisGirl) at
http://run-a-roundranch.blogspot.com/

On our way home I spotted it!  There it was, a little lonely red barn...cute as a button!  The teenage son was happy to do a uturn and take me back for a photo shoot, anything to drive more. :)  I couldn't get pics from every angle, but beggers can't choosers. :)

do you think that's a sunlight on the roof??

so lonely...

looks like there may be a tractor and trailer under the bushes

so happy to have found this little barn :)     Linking to BarnCharm

I have to admit that was a pretty barn - but it does look lonely!
It has seen better days.

This may be the smallest barn I have ever seen, so cute!! It almost looks like a storage shed, and maybe that is what they re using it for.

Love the old red barn...it looks like it's been consumed by the urban sprawl. Now I might have to go out in search of some barns.

I love old barns. Even the ones that are falling apart have a special charm to them. I don't know what it is about them but I never get tired of seeing them

You found a really cute red barn Marie. It looks like it has been around for awhile but it sure is cute. That bush does look like it's hiding a tractor under its branches.

Great barn picture... And to think: that one is in Florida!!!!! Yeah!!!! Love it. Hope you link up to Barn Charm next week.... It's a great meme and I always love seeing all of the different barns from all over the country. There's also a meme called Friday Fences!!! I don't participate in memes --but do enjoy seeing blogs which do...

Have a great day, Marie.
Hugs,
Betsy

Great photo's! What a contrast between the old weathered barn and the newer storage buildings. Sad to see but it's a reality of life. Hope your day is a good one.

You did capture this barn so well. Seems life has grown up around it. Its good your son does U-turns for you. What is the trick to getting them to do it? I have yet to train my hubby.
