Many Mallards

Hubby and I often visit Barber Park to see what's happening at the pond.  On this day we had grabbed some lunch and went to the park and decided to just sit in our car and stay cool.  When I saw the mallards start dancing I jumped out of the car to video it.  This just makes me laugh!  Hope it gives you a good lol!

Hard Hat Area

If I were this guy I would keep the hard hat on!  That Osprey seems to be keeping an eye on what's going on down below.  I can tell you that I could never ever do that job!  How about you??

I think the Osprey is such a pretty bird.  

I've seen Ospreys carrying some large fish!

I love my squirrels!  They're some of the best entertainment around.  This little guy was a lot of fun to watch. :)

Summer Break Over

Summer break is over.  Kyle has started back to school this week and that means no more 40 hours of working at Wet 'n Wild.  He will continue to work, but only two days a week, school comes first. :)  I think he's okay with a break from work, except he will miss those paychecks. :)

Egret's Lovely Friends

On Saturday I shared a handsome Egret with you.  Today I am sharing some of his pretty and handsome friends with you...some Wood Ducks.  Funny thing is I see a lot of ducks but not Wood Ducks, usually Mallards.  I'll just share a few of the many pics taken. :)

Grandpa and Grandson's Project

My dad and son do a lot of projects together.  Kyle has learned plumbing, irrigation, concrete mixing and pouring, pool care and all kinds of man stuff from my dad. :)  I'm very grateful for their relationship!  

This is one of their most recent projects at my mom and dad's home and I think it came out nicely. :) Looks like this tree needed a little assistance and got it. :)

On Our Way Back To Florida

While hubby was driving us back from North Carolina I was happily snapping.  Even though he was driving around 70mph it didn't stop me. :)  

After figuring gas cost for our Navigator, we decided to rent a vehicle because it would actually be less expensive.  We used our discount through USAA and thanks to a wonderful lady at Budget we made out very well.  When I arrived to pick up the car the lady working gave us an upgrade, at no extra charge, to a Ford Edge.  I have always thought the Edge was a sharp little suv.  We absolutely loved it!  Our son is 6'2" and he had plenty of room in the back.  I may be looking at buying one in the future. :)

Thrifty Find

It's no secret that I enjoy thrift shops.  I found this dog bowl and liked it immediately!  I Liked it even more when I saw the price tag...only .99!  What a deal!  It's so nice and heavy.  We use it as an extra water bowl for our three pups. :)
