Two Special Gifts.

These are two gifts that I received for Christmas.  One I will look at everyday and my heart will smile.  The other I will hang on our Christmas tree every year and enjoy it's beauty.

My son gave me this pretty plaque.  When I'm having an off moment things like this really lift my spirits.

This is my newest ornament.  I had never seen these before.  It's about 3" long and hangs on a green ribbon.

I would have never suspected you could do this with a leaf.  It's really neat.

That plaque is so beautiful. Just looking at it would definitely lift the spirits, especially when there's a note about what a special mom you are.

I have never seen this done with an oak leaf before, it really brings out the details. I have a small leaf that was dipped in gold. I picked it up at a shop in Dahlonega, GA years ago. That is going to look so pretty on your Christmas tree.
