Ready or Not, It's March

It's the first day of March and we have snow on the ground...we're not in Florida anymore. LOL!  Friday & Saturday were beautiful sunny days and we enjoyed every minute. :)

I would like to send a Happy Business Anniversary to my parents!  37 Years ago today, my parents started a successful business in Florida from scratch.  I've never known a harder working man than my dad.  I love & appreciate you both!

March is here, are you looking forward to anything special this month?  I'm looking forward to the time change because it has been getting dark way too early here, at least for me.  I'm also looking forward to celebrating my husband's b-day along with Roxanne's, my Dad's and an uncle's b-day.

Beautiful weekend!

Our squirrels know how to share. ha ha!

We have been putting out buffets for the birds and squirrels
and they have been eating it up!

The snow didn't slow down UPS!

3 Years of Blogging

Yesterday, July 27, 2014, was my 3 year blogging anniversary!  I've enjoyed blog land so much!  . :)  I would love for so many of us to meet up at a house at the beach or in the mountains and chat in person!  Maybe that will happen one day. :)

Son has been in Florida visiting his grandparents and friends, I've missed him so much!  We will be picking him up at RDU at 7 tonight, so happy!!!

I'll leave you with some favorites of mine. :)

Hugs to you all!

Is It Really April?!

Hi and happy April fool's day and spring time!  I sure hope everyone is doing well. :)
We've been so busy packing, finding a home, and celebrating all kinds of special days.

On Valentine's Day my son gave me these pretty roses.  Ever since he was a very young boy he would pick me a flower because he said it always made me smile. :)

March 1st was my dad's anniversary of being self employed, 36 years!  And he couldn't have done it without my mom. :)
March 6th my hubby celebrated his 40th birthday!

On March 8th our fur baby, Roxanne-Love, celebrated her 9th birthday!
March 12th was my uncle's birthday!
March 25th was my dad's birthday!
We're also celebrating that we have a new home in Cary, NC!  Yay!!!  It couldn't be a prettier time of year to make this big move.  The pups are very excited because they will have a bigger yard to run and chase butterflies in. :)

It's hard to believe it's already April!   We have another Mama Mallard sitting on her nest in our yard.  She took a bath on our front porch yesterday in a pail of water that we set out for her. :)

The weather here in Orlando couldn't be any nicer, it's sunny and around 73 degrees...just beautiful!  Hope you are having a beautiful day as well!

3 Wonderful Years!

December 10th was our 3 year wedding anniversary!
Yep, we're still honeymooners! :)

While we were in NC we visited Lizard Lick.  Kyle wanted to get something there for his grandpa.  It's a small place, you could drive right thru it easily.  We didn't meet any of the famous people this time.

Hope everyone is having happy days! It's in the 80's here, yuck!  I'll trade someone sunshine for a little snow. :)

Sandra, I am wearing my boots! Wish you could see them!  LOL

Two Years of Blogging

Today makes two years since I started my blog!  It's really hard to believe; time seems to fly by.  There are a few of you that have gotten to know me pretty well through email and I you.  You're all very dear to me and I cherish our friendships.  I really look forward to reading everyone's blogs everyday and when I am running behind I miss it so much. :)

Today I want to share something about myself that you don't know, but if you were to walk in my home you would know it immediately.  I have an Inspiration Wall.  Well, it's on the back of some cabinets. lol  It all started on one cabinet door in my kitchen where I have always taped up miscellaneous items that made me happy.  After I started blogging I came across so many positive quotes and words of wisdom I found to be inspirational I started writing them down.  As I was writing them I started taping them up so that I could see them everyday.  Now I have my Inspiration Wall, thanks to everyone in Blogland. :)
I'm happy to be here and I'm here to stay!

Hugs to you all,
Marie

This is my favorite..

The drawing of the car was on the refrigerator, my son drew it many years ago. :)

One Year Blogging Anniversary

One night I followed the voice of my heart and here I am.
It's been a year since I started my blog and I had no idea what to expect when starting "Women Talk About Life".  I do know that I'm following some incredible blogs and getting to know the wonderful people that created them.  My very first follower was Judy aka Squirrel Queen.  What was so ironic is that I absolutely LOVE squirrels!  I asked Squirrel Queen so many questions about blogging and she was always happy to help me. :)  In the past year I have found myself thinking about some amazing people from all corners of the world.  I have laughed with you, cried for some and prayed for all.  And I've made friends with people I may never meet.  I'm not a good writer or close to being a photographer, but what I do have is passion for life, people, animals and nature.  I hope that while visiting my blog everyone does see and feel my passions.  I really love blog land and all of you wonderful, caring bloggers!  Thank you all for your kind words, support, advice and time. :)
I'm blessed and I know it...I thank him every day.
This is a music box that I have (it's on the backside).  It plays the song "Let It Be".
I like what this says and I read it at least weekly.
Down below I uploaded the song from Youtube in case you would like to listen to it.

Our One Year Wedding Anniversary

One year ago today, December 10, 2010, hubby and I tied the knot.  We
had a small intimate ceremony at Cypress Grove Park here in Orlando.
